About The Bristol Phoenix

The Bristol Phoenix was first published in 1833 as The Bristol Gazette and continued as The Bristol Gazette and Family Companion. The newspaper, still published today, provides a unique view into the history and political and social activities of the town. Originally a four page paper, The Bristol Phoenix was published and printed by W.H.S. Bayley. It was issued every Saturday morning.
