COVID-19 Innovation Grant Announced
The Friends of Rogers Free Library (RFL) in Bristol, RI have issued a Request for Proposal to provide programming that delivers innovative approaches and service models in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and align to the Mission and Values of the Library enabling RFL to continue to fulfill its essential role in the community at this time of critical need.
The Friends are seeking applicants who aim to meet the needs of populations served by the Library during a time when many families, seniors, and children are unable to congregate at the Library and/or are dealing with issues of mobility, isolation, or other challenges related to vulnerability caused by COVID-19. The Friends are especially interested in programs that leverage technology for remote learning and engagement, or are delivered by other innovative, alternative means to congregant participation. Competitive proposals will demonstrate creative approaches to the novel challenges of COVID-19.
