Summer Reading Program 2024: Read, Renew, Repeat – Children’s

July 5th – August 23rd, 2024

July

This summer, we are all about conservation! Join Rogers Free Library’s Summer Reading Program: Read, Renew, Repeat. We’ll focus on protecting species and the environment, how to improve our habits, and reading books to help us learn and grow!

Beginning July 5th,  log your children’s reading, participate in library programs, and win fantastic prizes!

Our Children’s Summer Reading Program is on paper logs.  Anyone wishing to participate can pick up logs in the Children’s Room. Teens are encouraged to participate in the Adult and Teen Summer Reading Program and can grab their reading passport at Main Circulation.

Reading recommendations from the Bristol Warren Regional School District can be found on our Reading and Resources Page.

We also have a program for teens! To learn more visit our Teen Summer Reading Program webpage.

How it Works:

  • Choose your tracking method! Decide how many books you want to read, or how many minutes you want to read this summer ( read a minimum of 5 books or 25 minutes.) Pick up your log in the Children’s Room or at Main Circulation.
  • Read books, attend programs, and mark your progress!
  • Once your goal has been to read at least 5 books or 60 minutes, visit the Children’s Room to grab your prize! You will also enter the raffle for our Awesome Summer Reading Grand Prizes (3 total.)
    • The 1st goal you meet, you will win a book!
    • The 2nd goal you meet, you will win a toy!
    • The 3rd goal you meet, you will win a gift card!

Prizes*
Children can win giveaway books, toys, and gift cards to local Bristol businesses by completing their goals! They will also enter to win one of our Awesome Summer Reading Grand Prizes (3 total!)
