Youth Outreach

StoryWalks®

Funded by a generous grant from the Friends of the Rogers Free Library, StoryWalks® will be installed around Bristol from May through October. A StoryWalk® is a deconstructed book, weatherproofed and mounted on stakes.

Storytime in the Park

Where will we pop up next? During the warmer months, look for storytimes at the Town Beach, Town Common, Rockwell Park and the East Bay Food Pantry/Thrift Shop.

Reading “Fur” Fun

Rogers Free Library in collaboration with Potter League for Animals provides TDI (Therapy Dog International)
certified dogs and their owners as special reading partners for children in the Bristol elementary schools.

Rogers Readers Tutoring Program

Trained volunteer tutors provide one-on-one tutoring to individual children in elementary classrooms in support of reading instruction.
